Algerian Foreign minister meets Pakistani DPM-FM in New-York
Continuing his activities on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, meets on 26th September 2026, with Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss, in depth, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations, particularly regarding investment, economic cooperation, trade, higher education, and cultural exchanges.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues—especially the situation in the Middle East—emphasizing the importance of continuing dialogue and diplomatic efforts to address current challenges. They also commended the level of coordination between the two countries within multilateral frameworks, foremost among them the United Nations.
