Ambassador of Algeria to Pakistan

Dear  Algerian resident community in Pakistan,

Dear Citizens of  the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,

Website visitors of the Algerian Embassy in Islamabad.

I am pleased to commend the distinguished historical ties between Algeria and Pakistan which have supported our glorious revolution in the International forums, and was among the first countries to have recognized the Provisional Algerian Government in 1958 and opened a diplomatic representation office in Karachi at that time.

It is my pleasure and privilege to affirm my sincere desire and complete determination to serve and enhance the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Algeria in diverse fields, especially in the sectors of economy, investment and trade for mutual benefits and progress for our brotherly countries.

This website is a platform to introduce Algeria’s historical, political, economic, cultural, and tourist facets, as well as its diplomatic  activities. It also serves as a window for the Pakistani people to discover the cultural heritage and strategic capacities of Algeria which is the largest country by area in Africa, Arab and Mediterranean regions, and also the fourth-ranked economy in the Arab and African regions.

We hope that this website will be a renewed communication link between our dear national community residing in Pakistan and the homeland as well as the Algerian embassy in Islamabad, providing information, follow-ups, and consular services.

We intend to share this website as a bridge of communication and interaction with numerous stakeholders to strengthen the bilateral relations in the academic and practical fields, especially universities, scientific and technical research centers, companies, businessmen, chambers of commerce and industry, and entities specialized in investment and trade development. This is accomplished through introducing economic potential, elementary law of the economy, trade, and finance in Algeria, and all useful information to encourage and facilitate the fruitful partnership between the two countries.

Algeria and Pakistan celebrate this year - 2023 the sixtieth (60th) anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations that began in October 1963. They are two major pivot countries in their regions, with considerable potential and opportunities for fruitful partnership; a continuous history and a bright future.
